Upcoming Cars of 2022

The next few years will be thrilling. We’re currently experiencing an electric car explosion and witnessing a flood of new EV pickup trucks. We’re also seeing many more Supercar or hypercar debuts than ever before. That likely won’t stop as we anticipate the next four years, and share most of the vehicles we’re expecting to see in the near future, and possibly the year of 2026.

Our list of future vehicles is Viral Technologies broken down into three categories that include: SUVs, Cars and Trucks. Each section is filled with dozens of brand new vehicles we anticipate to see in 2026, based upon the information we’ve seen and reported either in spy photos or teasers from the beginning.

What Will It Cost: $77,000 When Will We Be able to See It: Mid 2021

Even though production has stopped in part due to the current pandemic, Lucid promises that its new Air electric vehicle will go on sale this year. The base model will start at $77,400 (before tax credits) and will come with 406 miles of range as well as 480 horsepower. However, more variants available of Lucid Air will follow, with a top-of-the-line Dream Edition expected soon after with a price tag of $169,000 and improved power and range.

2022 Aston Martin Vanquish

When Will It be In Stock:Late 2021

Aston Martin has New Cars many new cars that are in development. The first in the of the new line-up includes the DBX SUV, then a supercar that is high-end, named the Valkyrie following that, we’ll see the brand new Vanquish. Though it adopts an old name the 2022 Vanquish will be brand new with a mid-engine and will come with the manual transmission. Aston Martin hasn’t provided any official pricing details however we expect the 2022 Vanquish to cost about $450,000 when it’s new.

2022 Cadillac Escala

How Much Will It Cost:$200,000 (est.)
The Date It Will Be Its Release Date:Early 2022

Cadillac is planning to improve its lineup and make it a little more expensive with the arrival of its Escala car, which should begin production in 2021. The concept we first saw back in 2016, early reports suggested the Escala will use the existing CT6 platform. But instead, we know that the car will be completely electric. Utilizing the same platform that is used in the Lyriq, the high-end EV could cost over $200,000 when finished.

2022 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

How Much Does It Cost:$75,000 (est.)
The Date It Will Be Its Release Date:Mid 2021

It’s only a matter of time until Chevrolet announces the brand new Corvette Z06. The hope (based on reports from the past) is that this new Z06 will be available in the middle of 2021. Whenever it does debut with the new version of the ‘Vette could have a flat-plane-crank DOHC V8 engine that can rev up to 9,000 rpm, and pump out 625 horsepower. A more powerful ZR1 and even an electrified Corvette could be in the future in the future.

2022 Honda Civic / Type R

When will we see it: Early 2021 / Late 2021

Photos leaked recently of what is believed to be the new 2022 Honda Civic in the metal. The photos show the new look of the compact car and some additional information in the rear. Most of the styling elements borrowed from the eye-searing orange prototype that we first saw in November. Based on leaked CARB emission filings We know that both 1.5- and 2.0-liter engines will carry over. The official production Civic will be available in the next few months, with the Si as well as Type R models following later this year.

2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Latest Cars

Hyundai introduced the striking Ioniq 5 electric vehicle just a few weeks ago. Complete with edgy styling and  an impressive, spacious cabin it is the Ioniq 5 is the first in what the brand says will be an entire lineup of sharp EVs bearing the name. This Ioniq 5 comes with 168 horsepower at the base level, but can reach the 232 horsepower of its range-topping specification. Hyundai estimates range at 298 miles per charge.
